ANDREY RUBLEV

Rublev captured one title in 2025, winning in Doha. He was the first Bank of China Hong Kong Tennis Open champion, capturing the title in 2024. In a solid season, he beat Carlos Alcaraz on his way to the Masters 1000 Madrid title and defeated the then world No. 1 Jannik Sinner en route to the final of the Masters 1000 Canadian Open. At the end of the 2024 season, Rublev qualified for the Nitto ATP Finals for the fifth consecutive time. He won the gold medal in mixed doubles with Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova at the Tokyo Olympics and formed a one-two punch with Daniil Medvedev to win the Davis Cup in 2021. His previous accolades include being named ATP Most Improved Player of the Year in 2020 and the ITF Junior World Champion in 2014.

Rublev is playing the Bank of China Hong Kong Tennis Open for the third consecutive year.
