This season, Khachanov reached his second Wimbledon singles’ quarterfinal and was runner-up at the Canadian Masters 1000 event, resulting in a return to the world’s top 10. In 2024, he captured ATP 250 titles in Doha and Almaty in, reached the final in Vienna, and the semi-finals of the Masters 1000 in Paris. He won the only doubles title in his career in 2023 at the Masters 1000 Madrid together with Andrey Rublev. Khachanov has also captured the silver medal in men's singles at the Tokyo Olympics and was a member of his country’s Davis Cup winning team in 2021.
Khachanov is playing the Bank of China Hong Kong Tennis Open for the third consecutive year.
